Games Like Murdle
If you like opening one mystery, reading the clues and proving whodunit by logic, you have good company. These games do it in different ways. This page describes each one fairly, then says plainly where Suiri fits.
Murdle
Murdle is a daily murder-mystery logic grid. You match suspects, weapons and locations, then name the culprit. The web game also has a smaller Daily Mini, which is a gentler version and a good way to learn the format. Murdle began online and has grown into a large print line, including the original book trilogy and a Heist book that turns the same logic toward helping the thief.
Clues by Sam
Clues by Sam is a daily statement-deduction case shown as a grid of twenty suspect cards. The speakers tell the truth, clues open step by step, and the built-in checker only accepts a move when the clues shown so far force it. A free account keeps your history and opens the previous week's puzzles. Two packs of fifty puzzles are also sold: the first is pay what you want from $1, and the second, newer and harder pack is €5.
Murdoku
Murdoku mixes Sudoku-style placement with a murder scene. Each suspect goes on an illustrated crime-scene grid, one in each row and column, guided by one spatial clue per person. The murderer is the person left alone in a room with the victim. Its web puzzles are free and form a weekly archive rather than a daily case; there is no points system. The format also has print books, printable puzzles and contests.
Where Suiri is different
Suiri opens a new case every day, told at three depths: Standard, Inspector and Mastermind. Behind the daily case sits a casebook of 230 cases across ten kinds of puzzle — logic grids, truth-tellers, river crossings, planning moves, alibi timelines, nonograms, safe codes, room divisions, balance boards and lanterns.
Progress works two ways. Lifetime points never decrease, so solving always moves you forward. A separate rating moves up or down with rated solves and tells the truth about your current level. In free play you can choose any unlocked case, earn points, and leave your rating untouched.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best free Murdle alternative?
It depends on what you want more of. Suiri is free to play and gives you a new mystery or logic case every day at three depths, plus a casebook of 230 cases across ten kinds of puzzle. Start with today's case, or browse the casebook and pick a kind you like.
Is there a game like Murdoku with daily puzzles?
Yes. Murdoku's own web puzzles arrive weekly in an archive; Suiri opens a new case every day. The kinds differ — Suiri rotates through logic grids, truth-tellers, nonograms, safe codes and six other families — but each case has one solution reached by deduction alone.
How is Suiri different from Murdle?
Murdle uses one murder-mystery logic-grid format, served as a daily case and a smaller Daily Mini. Suiri uses ten kinds of puzzle in its casebook and rotates the daily case through them. Suiri also keeps lifetime points that never decrease and a separate rating that rises or falls with rated play.
Is Suiri free, and do I need an account?
Playing is free. Guests can play the full Rookie shelf (D 100–399). A free account saves your points, rating, streaks and tier progress, and higher shelves unlock as you climb.
Does every Suiri case have one solution?
Yes. Every case is machine-checked to have exactly one solution, and that solution can be reached by deduction alone. There is no need to guess.
